Race Across America

Introducing the Friends Foundation RAAM Team!

The Friends Foundation would like to announce our Sponsorship of the Annapolis entry into the 2014 Race Across America (RAAM) Bike Race! We are very proud to be the headline sponsor of the Annapolis entry into this great event and are very excited at the unique opportunity this gives us to raise money to help local charities.

What is Race Across America?

RAAM4The Race started in 1982 when 4 riders raced from the Santa Monica Pier in CA to the Empire State Building in NY. This started a tradition that continues today. In 1992 Teams were added which made the race accessible to just about all cyclists. This year’s Team race starts in Oceanside, CA on June 14th, 2014 and will finish approximately two weeks later in our very own Annapolis MD! For more information about the race please visit the RAAM site via the link below.
