The Beginning

friendsfoundationblackandwhitegroupThe Friends Foundation is an Annapolis based non-profit organization formed in December of 1998 by a group of young friends who lived, worked and played in the Annapolis, Maryland area. They formed the Friends Foundation as a way to come together as friends and raise money to help those in need. The premise was to continue to do activities they already enjoyed doing as a group but to do these activities while raising money that could be used to support local charities. Over the years the Friends Foundation has held golf tournaments, holiday parties, football game tailgates and many other activities that have raised tens of thousands of dollars that have been distributed to local charities.
